ADAGIO is a 75 Ohm cable designed for digital audio that uses highly proven cable technology to deliver enhanced sound quality. Adagio has been designed for a very high-quality performance sound quality at a very modest price.

ADAGIO cables are hand terminated at the Black Rhodium factory in Derby.

Precision UK Manufactured 75 Ohm Cable With Silver Plated Conductors

ADAGIO uses a UK manufactured 75 Ohm cable. Silver plated conductors allow superior high frequency transmission to be achieved through superior conductivity.

Silver Plated Wires for Superior Clarity of Sound and Clearer Highs.

Silver wire is well known for its superior sound quality. The relatively high cost of pure silver wire compared with copper precludes its use in all but the highest end ranges of audio cables. A very cost-effective compromise is the application of a thin surface of silver over a copper wire. As higher frequencies travel over the outer surface of the wire, the silver-plated wire in ADAGIO delivers a large part of the sound quality benefits of silver at a small extra fraction of the cost.

Anti RFI / EMI Technology to Further Reduce Distortion.

ADAGIO is covered in a tightly braided screen to protect the inner cores from picking up radio frequency interference (RFI).

Low Loss PTFE Insulation Used To Reduce Time Smeared Distortion.

The silver-plated wires in ADAGIO are insulated in PTFE because its low dielectric loss ensures extremely low distortion. This is due to dielectric absorption effects in which sound energy is absorbed in the insulation and released at a later interval of time to create highly audible time-smearing distortion.

High-Quality Gold-Plated Connectors

ADAGIO is terminated with high-quality gold-plated connectors. These have been specially manufactured to ensure that Black Rhodium cables deliver the very best sound quality possible.
