XTRA Silver Loudspeaker cable

XTRA Silver Loudspeaker Cable

'A big upgrade in sound over cables in 'entry level' First Systems'

XTRA silver loudspeaker cable is a high-quality 2 channel loudspeaker cable designed for domestic audio systems. It connects your amplifier's output terminals to a pair of loudspeakers and is optimised to deliver a big upgrade on cables in entry level first systems.

Why XTRA Silver Loudspeaker Cable Delivers such Excellent Sound

Clearer High Frequencies from Silver Plated Conductors

High frequencies travel along the outer surface of a conductor. By applying a layer of highly conductive silver exactly where the signal flows. Minuet delivers the clarity, sparkle and openness associated with pure silver without the cost. Result: cleaner treble, finer detail and a more lifelike sense of air around instruments.

Deeper Bass & More Stable Imaging from 1.3 sq. mm Conductors

A generous 1.3 sq. mm cross section allows low frequency energy to move with less resistance. Result: deeper, more authoritative bass and a rock solid stereo image where vocals and instruments lock into place with convincing realism.

Greater Dynamic Range from Full-Length Vibration Damping

Electrical and magnetic fields can induce micro-vibrations in a cable, subtly compressing dynamics. XTRA silver loudspeaker cable combats this with an effective damping braid running the full length of the cable. Result: uncompressed dynamics at all volume levels, ideal for rock, orchestral and choral music.

Twisted Conductors Reduce Interference

The conductors are twisted together to minimise intermodulation distortion caused by high-frequency noise. Result: cleaner, more accurate sound with reduced harshness.

Clearer Sound from Powerful High-Frequency Filter

A large powerful ferrite core effectively blocks high-frequency noise and interference that can modulate your sound and seriously distort your music: Result: more faithful reproduction of instrumental tone and texture.

Gold-Plated Z-Plugs for Superior Contact

Our gold-plated Z-plugs fit tightly into standard 4mm amplifier and loudspeaker sockets and were selected after extensive listening tests for their excellent sound quality. Spade connectors are also available at no extra cost.
